Love Wins!
Here are a few photos from my Love Is Everyday series to celebrate today's historic decision by the US Supreme Court to uphold the Constitutional right to same-sex marriage. A friend explained the importance of today's decision eloquently: "Growing up, threatened and hiding, I could never imagine living to see this day."
Justice Kennedy concluded the majority decision with this: “No longer may this liberty be denied. No union is more profound than marriage, for it embodies the highest ideals of love, fidelity, devotion, sacrifice and family. In forming a marital union, two people become something greater than once they were.”
